PARADIS APARTMENTS IN ALKIMOS

Affordable living in an enviable beachside location has proven popular with buyers at BGC Development’s Paradis Apartments in Alkimos.

The boutique development by BGC Development and BGC Construction is valued at $7.1 million, and includes 16 three-bedroom, two-bathroom maisonette apartments located just 100 metres from the beach.

BGC Development General Manager Ross Catalano said the development, located on Keel Lane within the Shorehaven precinct, offered an alternate housing product for buyers in the area.

“We created an innovative housing design, offering the ease and convenience of apartment living, while still maintaining the spatial feeling of a traditional house,” he said. “Our unique approach allowed us to offer diverse choice in the local market through the introduction of a new, affordable housing product, instead of the traditional housing model that is common in the Shorehaven precinct.”

The low-maintenance dwellings were priced from $429,000, with many lots offering sweeping ocean views. The lots were snapped up by buyers who bought off the plan with the first residents moved in during November. BGC Development worked in close collaboration with BGC Construction to deliver the outstanding built-form project, and also collaborated with Peet and the City of Wanneroo to ensure the development integrated with the broader Shorehaven precinct.
